Butterfingers Kitchen - Gastronomy Made Easy

​My name is Mai. I am here to share with you my humble cooking/baking experience. My biggest interest at the moment is probably cooking, filming recipes and taking photos of my own creations. 

The reason I named it "Butterfingers Kitchen" is because I am a butterfingers, especially in the kitchen. It's common for me to cut or burn myself while cooking, but I still manage to cook delicious food and bake scrumptious goodies.

The message I wish to convey is that even a butterfingers such as myself can cook, then YOU can do it as well! Just follow the recipes step by step and success will come your way. Don't hesitate to ask me any questions if you need help :)

This is my extremely low budget filming set. You know, in limited situations, you'll learn to make do with what you have. It doesn't look fancy, but I love it to pieces. Why? Because from this set up, I've learned to pay attention to little details to make it uniquely mine. Besides, it's cute! 

I have never taken anything social-media-wise this serious before. Perhaps because I've always been so busy in college, which left me no time for such a time-consuming hobby. Now I've got some free time, so yea, this is what I've got to show. I actually consider it as a full-time job, which I have to take serious and single-handedly create the best possible graphic & informative content for my audience.

​Basically I have one DSLR camera on a tripod that I keep changing angles. For the overhead shot, I use my iPhone 7+ attached to a selfie stick and another tripod using a clamp. It's not the sturdiest, but it works perfectly fine! All photos on this website are either taken by my smart phone or camera.
